It's weird because in Australia and England that is the norm and I didn't even realize it was done differently in the US until I got published over there. It still feels weird for me to leave the 's' off (which is probably why I still forget sometimes!!!)Amanda Ashbyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05026754208576877438noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-38838926.post-2634427324260345002011-10-19T09:56:37.091-07:002011-10-19T09:56:37.091-07:00The thing that bothers me the most is when people ...The thing that bothers me the most is when people put an 's' on the end of anyway. It's bothered me since I was a child, and I have to bite my lip not to correct people, especially my elders. Oh well. I enjoyed your list, and my mom would agree with you on the banana thing. She can't stand them. Even their smell. I however don't hold either opinion on them. They are simply just a healthy alternative to me.Laurenahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08227199724741215693noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-38838926.post-29398364640532202482011-10-19T02:03:35.459-07:002011-10-19T02:03:35.459-07:00Photos are great this is really interesting and ni...Photos are great this is really interesting and nice!essayshttp://essaywriter.org/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-38838926.post-52113662454326315342011-10-18T19:51:45.617-07:002011-10-18T19:51:45.617-07:00Julie J - apart from the banana thing, I feel like...Julie J - apart from the banana thing, I feel like we were separated at birth! Nuh-uh.

One of my many pet peeves are checkout operators who carry on long, involved conversations with people in line ahead of you (who generally have screaming babies or manic toddlers) and completely ignore the fact they have a line trailing halfway down the shop. It really fries my banana. Oops. Sorry.

Oh, and people who let their kids open packets of biscuits in the supermarket and then put them back on the shelf.
