Play it again Sam......

This week the topic is music. And it got me wondering if you (like I do) play a track over and over again. And I mean over and over. If I come across a track I love on a CD it's nothing for me to listen 20 times one after another.

At the moment I'm doing that with two songs. The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face by Leona Lewis and I'm Telling You from the Dreamgirls soundtrack. I seriously can't get enough of these two songs. Hey.... guess what I'm listening to at the moment.

So tell me, what songs are on repeat for you?

The first five songs on One Republic's CD. Which are: Say (All I Need), Mercy, Stop & Stare, Apologize, Goodbye Apathy, and All Fall Down. They are basically the only thing I've listened to for the past few weeks. What can I say, I'm in love, lol.

Ack, so many! Right now I'm right into anything by The Veronicas and Muse. Also, I still keep listening to that Sugababes song, About You Now. Of course I shouldn't be telling you this since I have to blog about music tomorrow!!!!

I don't know what it is, but I just play my favorite songs again, and again. I used to collect movie soundtracks and listen to my faves repeatedly, and now when I find a good song I download it and it's added to the repeat selections. haha!

The last five songs I downloaded from iTunes are currently on heavy rotation. When I tire of them, I'll download five more, and on it goes. . .

Whatever song is on the latest i-pod commercial is inevitably what I'm obsessive about--until the next commercial comes along! They sure have great music discoverers (is that a job??) working for them!

Song I'm addicted to right now is Let Me Think About It by Ida Corr. I'm a dance junkie :)

I am having a big Chris Brown moment right now. And also Taylor Swift. Sigh.

The song I'm addicted to at the moment is called Pancho & Lefty, and it's a live cover by the Counting Crows. It's much prettier than it sounds, believe me!

I'm glad it's not just me!!

Bev, a music discoverer sounds an awesome job..... as well as writing, of course ;)

Melissa.... I could well be having Chris Brown moments, after I'm over my current repeats.

I do that too. Right now I'm listening to a song by Cute is What We Aim For and Stacy's Mom all the time.

Right now my 5 year-old is practicing for American Idol, so we are listening to his select audition songs: (disregard spelling) Honky Tonk Badonkadonk, Coming Home (Daughtry), and Hey Baby (No Doubt). I had to put a limit on these songs, no more than 3 times in a row. But no, I have to say that I'll always have my favorite songs, but I rarely listen to any song more than twice in a row. I like mixes better than listening to a single artist for a whole CD, as well. (No attention span.)

I am always so happy to hear other people do this, Sara. Presently, it's Silly Ho by TLC. I was in the car for over an hour the other day and didn't listen to another song once.
