Favorite YA Romances

This week is 'anything goes' week on TFC, so I hope you don't mind if I start with a little BSP:

I'd like to invite you to join me and TFC sisters Wendy Toliver and Melissa Walker for a LOVE FEST Monday thru Saturday on my blog. We'll be joined by Simone Elkeles, Tina Ferraro and Sasha Watson to answer questions on romance and relationships and to give away free stuff!

Meanwhile, since I'm in a romantic kind of mood, I've been perusing my shelf of YA novels that have romance in them and considering what it is about my favorites that make them so great.

For me, if I adore the romantic interest in the book, I'm completely sold. Take Jesse in Meg Cabot's MEDIATOR series, for instance. How could you not fall in love with a hot Spanish ghost? Or how about Owen in Sarah Dessen's JUST LISTEN? He's complex and strong and sensitive and there for Annabel when she needs him. I could go on and on...

How about you? What are some of your favorite romantic YA books? Why?

I loooved Jesse in the mediator series!
Some of my favorite romantic YA books are:
ABC's of kissing boys-because it's so cute and I love the two main character's relationship and how they ended up falling for each other.
My Fair Godmother-because it's so awesome! I loved the story so much and who can resist a modern fairy tale?
The Fetch-because it's also super awesome. I love the idea of there being fetches, it's just incredible and I also really liked how Laura Whitcomb made the story seem more realistic with the Romanovs. Soo sad though :(
Jessica's Guide to dating on the dark side-ooooh this book was also really great! I wish there were more to the story but sadly there probably won't be, since the ending makes it seem as it that is all for Jessica and Lucius.
there are so many more YA books I love but it would take forever to list them. :D

Jesse from The Mediator is one of my favorite literary guys, ever.

I love all of Sarah Dessen's books too. Truth About Forever is my favorite. Probably one of my all-time favorite YA romances.

I just have to add to Robin thanks for some good suggestions.

Hmm... I fell in love with Evan in Elizabeth Scott's BLOOM. I even had an IT guy at the office where I was working whom I thought looked like him, so that started a little real-life crush. Ridiculous! But fun.

How They Met and Other Stories by David Levithan was soooo good. Each story just makes you feel that giddy so-in-love feeling. Totally awesome.
