Road Trip Music

I'm off on a road trip this week doing book research, so music week here on TFC comes at a great time for me. Why? Because I cannot travel without tunes.

Things have been so crazy at home over the last few weeks that I rarely have time to eat much less enjoy my favorite songs. But driving an entire day to my destination? Oh, baby. Crank up that volume.

In the spirit of playlist happiness, here are 10 songs currently on my travel soundtrack this time. Some of these are book-related (for writing inspiration) and others are just because I like 'em. I'm happily eclectic when it comes to music. :-)

Gravity by Sara Barielles
Back to December by Taylor Swift
One Last Breath by Creed
Better Life by Keith Urban
Across the Universe by Rufas Wainwright
World by Five for Fighting
This Could Be Heaven by Seal
Duck and Run by 3 Doors Down
Every Day by Rascal Flatts
Ordinary Miracle by Sarah McLachlan

What's on your personal soundtrack this week?

I am just like that! I can't travel without music, and lately I've had to settle with my dad's and brother's music, because I lost my i-pod. It's not too bad, since--like you--I have a pretty eclectic taste, and they listen to decent music, but sometimes, I just want my own music.

P.S. You're top ten list is pretty good, I'll have to look up some of the songs I don't know. Thanks for the suggestions!

I've just taught my kids how to make playlists and it's so funny seeing them listening with their headphones to their own private music rather than stuff that we might want to be playing!

Have a great road trip!!!!

Great post! I am a huge music lover and will have to look into the music you've posted that I am not familiar with yet!

I love listening to music when I'm driving around too. Lately I've been listening to Adele. But when my boys are in the car, it's usually hip-hop or rap. Be safe on your trip, Kay!

Laurena - I hear you on needing your own music. When we do family car trips, I tend to get homesick for my own songs. :-)

Amanda - Headphones are a wonderful thing! A certain someone who shall remain nameless may be getting an iPod Touch for Christmas. I am very much looking forward to that. ;-)

Julie - Thanks! I hope you find some new songs from the list. :-)

Wendy - Thank you! We had a wonderful trip - lots of great book research complete just in time for NaNo. :-) I just heard that Adele has had a rash of throat problems and needs to cancel tour dates to recouperate. I hope she's better soon!

The movie Tale was created by the team, during which were being far more women than Gentlemen. They decided, that film could well be focused on somewhat ladies. But it was not merely their belief. They researched minor women, who like Inside of Out Games by far the most, and found out, that 11 to 17 ladies tend to be more attuned to expressions and emotions than Other individuals. Here is the primary reason, why the primary character With this cartoon movie is little, 11 several years aged, Female. When small women see, that there is a Lady from the movie, who has the identical age, the like it A lot more. So, we expect, will be liked very! The funds of Within Out was $one hundred seventy five million, but authors commercialized a great deal more, than that they had used! They may have got $ million from sales in all over the world. From that we can comprehend, that this movie appeals to each individual people today, it doesn't subject they might be Lady, or boy, teenager or mature. Those people like Inside of Out Online games far too, not surprisingly. The film has received this kind of an interesting Tale, that non ofit's watchers will keep indifferent soon after observing it. In it we are able to see the inner thoughts, that have received each person.
