This week we're talking about interesting quotes, and whenever I think of quotes I always remember my first boss. His mantra was:
THE SECRET OF SUCCESS IS..... DO IT NOW!
For some reason it reasonated with me, and it's something I've always tried to stick to. Of course, I can procrastinate with the best of them, but when it's something to do with work, or the various committees I've been on I've always stuck to it.
What about you, is there any quote or saying that influences you on a daily basis?

The quote that influences me every day is: "The only person who can ever really take you out of the game is you." I'm the one who first said it - years ago! - and I meant it.
Mine is "Life is dukkha." It's a Buddhist term . . . can't really translate into English, but it's sort of like "Life is . . . what it is. Changeable." It's about acceptance and then (for me) moving on from setbacks and charging forward.
I like to try to "do it now" too. Otherwise I just stress about it until it's done.

Erica, that's so true, too. Acceptance of what life throws at you can be really hard sometimes.

My favorite daily quote is 'this too shall pass' because it reminds me not to get too caught up in one thing (be it good or bad) and to always remember the bigger picture!
Love this, and it's so true. I've always loved "A rising tide lifts all boats." Makes me remember not to be jealous of others' successes, but to celebrate it and know that it only contributes to making the world better!
